Journey Together has been officially revealed as our next upcoming English set after Prismatic Evolutions, with a release date of March 28th, 2025. An early look at Journey Together shows the return of Owner's Pokemon, officially labeled Trainer's Pokemon going forward. Prerelease starts on March 15th and runs through March 23rd.
Trainer's Pokemon have been a big hit for Pokemon collectors ever since their debut in Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge. We've seen multiple iterations since then, including notable cards like the Team Magma's Groudon EX and the Team Aqua's Kyogre EX from Double Crisis, the Lillie's Clefairy promo card from Dream League on the Japanese side, and of course the Trainer Gallery subsets we saw during the Sword & Shield era.
The Journey Together revealed booster pack art shows some of the featured Trainers of the set, and includes Lillie and her Clefairy, N with his Zoroark, Hop with Zacian, and Iono with her Bellibolt.
We are also extremely happy to share that the booster box for Journey Together has been relabeled as an "Enhanced Booster Box" and will include a copy of the N’s Reshiram promo with a Journey Together stamp. Could Pokemon be planning to bring box-toppers back with all future booster boxes?
Journey Together will be based on the Battle Partners set, releasing in Japan on January 24th, and will also include cards from the Japanese ex Starter Deck Generations.
