Earlier today it was revealed on Pokebeach that November will see the release of a new Pokemon TCG set titled Phantasmal Flames. This will be the second set from the new Mega Evolution block, and is likely to be based on Japan's Mega Gengar ex & Mega Diancie ex decks and Inferno X.
With the Mega Gengar and Diancie decks coming in early September, and Inferno X planning to release on September 26th in Japan, we expect to get a glimpse of Phantasmal Flames within the coming weeks. Stay tuned as we will publish a full card list, buying guide, set guide, and price guide for Phantasmal Flames as information comes out.
So does this mean we are going to get a Mega Charizard ex SIR and a Mega Gengar ex SIR within Phantasmal Flames? It is definitely a fair assumption, and will have the potential to completely break the hobby if so.
Let's hope Pokemon has those printers going to max capacity.
