#10. Oranguru Gold Secret Rare - 199/185

We're just now kicking off this list and already we are talking about a golden secret rare shiny Pokemon card with a value almost double what the #10s on similar lists go for (Darkness Ablaze, for example). If this isn't a sign of the amazing value offered in Vivid Voltage then I don't know what is.

You can tell the Secret Rare Oranguru is shiny because of the glittering visible on the card, and because our monkey man is pink rather than the usual white and purple.

Golden Secret Rare Oranguru 199/185 is currently valued around $25 at the time of writing.

#9. Allister Rainbow Secret Rare - 192/185

The full-art trainers featured in Vivid Voltage really look amazing, and Allister is one of our favorite designs. Unique only to Pokemon Shield - This trainer is the fourth Gym leader found at Stow-on-Side's gym. Allister uses Ghost-type Pokemon (in case it wasn't obvious by looking at him.)

The uniqueness of the character design and the fact that the Gym leader is only found in one of the two Sword and Shield games creates a strong case for Allister having high collectible value.

Rainbow Secret Rare Allister 192/185 is currently valued around $26 at the time of writing.

#8. Leon Full Art & Leon Rainbow Secret Rare - 182/185 & 195/185

We decided to include both Full Art versions of Leon at #8. Leon is the Champion in Sword and Shield so naturally his card offers a lot of collectible value for anyone looking to complete a Sword and Shield trainer set, leader set, or master set.

Although the prices for rainbow Leon have been known to stretch a good bit higher than the Full Art version, there is plenty of sales data pointing to the two cards having roughly the same average price. We suspect the Rainbow Leon isn't fetching prices as high as maybe it should.

The Rainbow Secret Rare Leon and Full Art Leon 195/185 & 182/185 are currently valued around $27 at the time of writing.

#7. Pokemon Center Lady Full Art - 185/185

Pokemon Center Lady is another one of our favorites from Vivid Voltage - featuring a character that literally anyone who has ever played a Pokemon game or watched the show will be sure to recognize. She is the final card featured in the main set before secret rares.

The instantly recognizable character and the adorable design make the Full Art Pokemon Center lady a highly collectible and sought-after card. It's no surprise that a simple Full Art featuring a character as old as Gen-1 would come in at #7 on our list.

Pokemon Center Lady Full Art 185/185 is currently valued around $27.50 at the time of writing.

#6. Galarian Obstagoon Gold Secret Rare - 198/185

Just like the Oranguru featured at #10 on our list, there is also a golden secret rare shiny Galarian Obstagoon in Vivid Voltage that comes in at #6 on our list. Obstagoon is the evolved form of Linoone and was introduced in Generation 8 in Sword and Shield.

As sort of a KISS-inspired punk rock weasel thing, you can imagine that Pokemon enthusiasts are perhaps mixed in their opinions of Obstagoon's design. Nevertheless, this card continues to fetch a decent price and offers collectors a unique option for their collection.

Golden Secret Rare Obstagoon 198/185 is currently valued around $28 at the time of writing.

#5. Pikachu VMAX Ultra Rare - 44/185

And now we've arrived at one of the major themes of Vivid Voltage - Pikachu! Perhaps not so surprising for a set called Vivid Voltage - Pikachu makes several appearances in the set and especially on this list. Expect to see our chubby little electric mouse mentioned a couple more times going forward.

What makes the Pikachu in Vivid Voltage special is the chubby design - I'm not even kidding. Back in Gen. 1 Pikachu was drawn a lot chubbier than they tend to draw him now. Many fans of the franchise have long preferred the old school Chubby Chu, and the Pokemon Company gave the people what they wanted in Vivid Voltage. Many fans affectionately call the Vivid Voltage Pikachus Chonkachu.

VMAX Ultra-Rare Chonk-, er, Pikachu... 44/185 is currently valued around $30 at the time of writing.

#4. Bea Full Art & Rainbow Secret Rare - 180/185 & 193/185

Earlier we mentioned that Allister was the gym leader of the 4th gym in Pokemon Shield. Likewise, Bea is the gym leader of the 4th gym in Pokemon Sword. It is maybe not surprising that both unique gym leaders would be featured on a list of the most valuable (and indeed most collectible) cards on the set list.

Bea is a gym leader for the Stow-on-Side gym and specializes in Fighting type Pokemon. Along with Allister, she is featured as both a regular Full Art and a Rainbow Secret Rare.

Bea Full Art & Rainbow Secret Rare 180/185 & 193/185 are currently valued around $36 at the time of writing.

#3. Nessa Full Art & Rainbow Secret Rare - 183/185 & 196/185

Nessa has been a fan-favorite gym leader ever since Sword and Shield came out. It is quite fitting that her card have one of the best designs in the set since so many collectors like the character. Nessa is the gym leader of Hulbury Stadium and specializes in Water type Pokemon.

Although we have included both cards at #3, it is important to note that there is actually a significant price difference between the two, with the Rainbow version fetching a good bit more than the Full Art version. Could this be an indication of what may happen with Leon as well?

Full Art Nessa 183/185 is currently valued around $38 at the time of writing.

Rainbow Secret Rare Nessa 196/185 is currently valued around $50 at the time of writing.

#2. Pikachu V Full Art - 170/185

Just as we promised our chunky little buddy is back at #2 on the list. It is extremely rare for a Full Art V to fetch as much as this card, but Pikachu is an obvious exception to this rule. Pikachu has long been a top collectible Pokemon ever since his debut in Gen 1.

In fact, it has become fairly common for some collectors to specifically build Pikachu collections. Pikachu cards across all past sets, promo cards, Championship cards, and special releases have all seen a surge in value for the past couple years. Full Art Pikachu has an impressive price tag, but is nothing compared to the chunk found at #1 on the list.

Full Art Pikachu V 170/185 is currently valued around $80 at the time of writing.

#1. Pikachu VMAX Rainbow Secret Rare - 188/185

And here he is in all his giant rainbow chunky glory! This card features the same artwork as the Pikachu VMAX at #5 on our list but in rainbow. Despite the similarity, this card currently goes for around 10x the price of the regular VMAX. Additionally, if you are lucky enough to pull this card in perfect condition, getting it graded in a PSA 10 can double its value.

Collectors everywhere have their sights on this card, but research into the pull rate of this card suggests it could be as rare as 1 in 1,000 packs. It's extremely difficult to pull this card, it features one of the most famous and popular Pokemon, and it comes as a secret rare rainbow card. This is the perfect combination to create an extremely valuable card.

Rainbow Secret Rare Pikachu VMAX 188/185 is currently valued around $400 at the time of writing, or $800+ in a PSA 10.

Any rainbow Pikachu on eBay for $10 is either fake or a custom card. The real thing is currently going for about $250.
