These are expected to be the top 10 most expensive cards from Journey Together!
With Journey Together scheduled to release March 28, 2025, trainers are starting to wonder what pulls they should plan to look for in their Journey Together booster packs. Thankfully, Battle Partners has already released in Japan, so we have some pricing data to look at.
Journey Together is composed of Battle Partners and some additional cards from the Generations Starter Decks, so we have a very good idea of what to expect in Journey Together.
Here are the top 10 best cards to look for in Journey Together!
#10. Iono's Bellibolt ex Secret Rare #114

Iono's Bellibolt ex #114Secret Rare Check eBayCheck Amazon |
Iono's Bellibolt ex Secret Rare #114 is currently valued around $20 at the time of writing. |
The 10th most expensive card from Battle Partners is the Iono's Bellibolt ex #114 full art. Iono has been a popular trainer ever since her introduction in Paldea, despite being brand new to the series. We can expect this card to be desirable in Journey Together.
You may have noticed the new style of Trainer full art starting in Journey Together. Opinions on this style are mixed, with some claiming the trainer seems like a ghost watching over their Pokemon from beyond the grave. Others are happy to see a redesign since the old style was generic and a bit boring. Maybe the Pokemon company will play around with their color choices on future full arts if they keep this style.
#9. Iris's Fighting Spirit Full Art #121

Iris's Fighting Spirit Full Art #121 is currently valued around $29 at the time of writing. |
Speaking of full arts, the Iris's Fighting Spirit Full Art #121 is the 9th most expensive card from Battle Partners, and likely to make the list in Journey Together as well. It is perhaps worth noting that full art Trainers tend to be higher priced in Japan relative to English, though we have seen similar full arts in the past make these lists.
Iris specializes in Dragon-type Pokemon, and is a gym leader in Pokemon White, and is the Champion of the Pokemon League in Black 2 and White 2. Iris has a notable and valuable Full Art in Plasma Blast as well, which was released during the Black and White era.
#8. Lillie's Clefairy ex Secret Rare #115

Lillie's Clefairy ex Secret Rare #115 is currently valued around $35 at the time of writing. |
Another top card from Battle Partners and likely chase card in Journey Together is the Lillie's Clefairy ex #115. Ok, we really hear the concerns about the ghostlike appearance of the trainer with this one.
Take note, trainers. Lillie is a very popular Trainer in the TCG, and the other Lillie's Clefairy we have to reference outside of Battle Partners is the Dream League Clefairy 381/SM-P from Japan. If you aren't familiar, this Clefairy was a Japanese promo that was fetching over $1,500 in PSA 10 during the Japanese waifu craze. If you don't know - don't ask... Just know Lillie's Clefairy has a history with price action.
#7. Salamence ex Special Art Rare #129

Salamence ex Special Art Rare #129 is currently valued around $44 at the time of writing. |
One of the best cards from Journey Together will undoubtedly be the Salamence ex Special Illustration Rare. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised to see this card competing at the upper end of this list when it comes to the English release, much like the Latias ex #239 SIR from Surging Sparks.
It's actually the only card to make this list despite not featuring a trainer. This isn't particularly surprising since Journey Together is meant to highlight Trainer Pokemon specifically, though Salamence probably makes the list of lesser fan-favorites.
#6. Hop's Zacian ex Special Art Rare #128

Hop's Zacian ex #128Special Art Rare Check eBayCheck Amazon |
Hop's Zacian ex Special Art Rare #128 is currently valued around $44 at the time of writing. |
The hate for Hop is palpable in this set. While all 4 featured trainers have a Special Art Rare in Battle Partners, Hop's Zacian is severely outclassed when it comes to value. The other SAR Trainer's Pokemon are easily 3x the value of this card. Even the gold variations rank higher.
Hop is one of your rivals from Sword & Shield alongside Bede and Marnie. His brother is Leon, the Champion of the Galar region. It perhaps doesn't help that Zacian and Zamazenta never really resonated with many collectors when it comes to Legendary Pokemon.
#5. N's Zoroark ex Gold Ultra Rare #131

N's Zoroark ex Gold Ultra Rare #131 is currently valued around $64 at the time of writing. |
Just like Iris, N makes his first appearance in Black and White as well as Black 2 and White 2. N has long been regarded as a fan-favorite trainer, and one of few male trainers to have notable cards, such as the Noble Victories Full Art #101 and the Japanese Best of XY Full Art #180.
In Battle Partners, there is an error version of this card where the texture for the Zoroark SAR was used with this card by mistake. The Zoroark #131 texture error card in Battle Partners currently has a low listed price of $1,449 on eBay, making it technically the most expensive card of the set.
#4. Iono's Bellibolt ex Gold Ultra Rare #130

Iono's Bellibolt ex Gold Ultra Rare #130 is currently valued around $81 at the time of writing. |
The 4th most expensive card from Battle Partners is the Iono's Bellibolt ex Gold Ultra Rare #130. Bellibolt is an electric type Pokemon introduced in Gen IX and Iono's signature partner Pokemon.
Interestingly, N and Iono are the only trainers to be featured on gold cards in Battle Partners and Journey Together. It would have been interesting to see how a gold Lillie's Clefairy would compete on this list, while it is perhaps a mercy that Hop didn't get a gold card.
#3. N's Zoroark ex Special Art Rare #127

N's Zoroark ex Special Art Rare #127 is currently valued around $129 at the time of writing. |
A top chase card for Journey Together is the N's Zoroark Special Illustration Rare. The popularity of N as a character and the difficulty to pull this card will make it one of the most expensive cards in English. It is unlikely to take the #1 spot, though, as the female trainers will likely see more demand.
This card is illustrated by Megumi Mizutani who notably also did the N's Zorua promo that comes in the Journey Together Elite Trainer Box. Megumi Mizutani has been illustrating for the Pokemon TCG since 2012 with the release of Next Destinies, and has dozens of exceptional illustrations, including several featuring N.
#2. Iono's Bellibolt ex Special Art Rare #125

Iono's Bellibolt ex Special Art Rare #125 is currently valued around $244 at the time of writing. |
Iono's Bellibolt ex SIR will be a top chase card and one of the most expensive cards from Journey Together. Several copies of this card in Battle Partners have already hit the market in PSA 10 and are selling for over $400.
Will this be the most expensive card on the English side to feature Iono? We have seen Special Illustration Rare Iono cards in Paldean Fates and Paldea Evolved hit a premium, but the price of this card in Japanese may indicate a new favorite Iono card. It will be interesting to watch since Japanese collectors tend to consistently value female trainers higher than the English counterpart.
#1. Lillie's Clefairy ex Special Art Rare #126
![]() |
Lillie's Clefairy ex #126Special Art Rare Check eBayCheck Amazon |
Lillie's Clefairy ex Special Art Rare #126 is currently valued around $465 at the time of writing. |
Remember when we highlighted Lillie's Clefairy as a particularly interesting card because of the Dream League version? It is no surprise to find Lillie's Clefairy ex #126 Special Art Rare at the top of the list for Battle Partners, and it won't be surprising if we see it do the same thing in Journey Together.
The Lillie's Clefairy ex SIR from Journey Together is illustrated by Susumu Maeya. This is a fairly new artist for the Pokemon TCG who joined during Temporal Forces. They also illustrated the Sylveon #068 card from Terastal Festival ex which, as a masterball, is one of the most expensive cards from that set.
Lillie is a trainer introduced in the Sun & Moon era that specializes in Fairy type Pokemon. Clefairy is perhaps her most notable Pokemon, typically depicted as her partner. She also carries around a PokeDoll which resembles Clefairy. Out of all the Trainer's Pokemon on this list, Clefairy and Lillie are probably the most popular combination, making this the most expensive card in Battle Partners, and likely Journey Together as well.
